So I finally began tearing the truck apart so I can redo my air management with accuair. Everything worked fine except for a particular valve sticking occasionally. Also picked up a welder so I can actually do some things myself lol.
My to do list
Install vu4
Install switch speed controller...
Since Chris gave the suggestion I figured I'd post a thread for my new truck. A lot of guys here know me already and I had a previous build thread for a truck I no longer own for various reasons. Got married, moved into my own house, etc etc so now I can focus on one project and getting it...
I picked it up last night. it;s a 2014 Reg Cab short box WT2. 5.3L with 3.42 gears. i had a hell of a time choosing between this and silver.
NEEDS MORE LOW
Well I have had this 72 bronco for some time. I bought it from the 2nd owner. It was uncut and everything but I never liked them lifted and uncut. Well originally I was planning on lifting it and wheeling it. I just did not work on it as I really had no place to work on it for a while and lost...
Well, I guess this is the start of my build thread. I will start by posting a picture of when i first got her and one of her currently. So far since i got her from my dad as a senior in high school, I static dropped the truck 4/11, 454SS wheels, replaced the original 305 with a 355, and did a...
I bought this truck in CL a couple months ago because my friend wanted it and I had cash on me at the time.
Its his now and he wants to make it into a autocross truck to mess with imports if he can.
Plans:
Coilovers up front to get rid of t bars and help handling. He put those in today...
The battery in my truck is getting old. It only has about another month or 2 before its time is up, judging by how long it is supposed to last and how old it is. So I just wanna find out what everyone would recommend replacing it with. I remember Optima was probably the biggest recommendation at...
The other day I was looking at cars on here and thinking "damn if I ever get rich, im gonna buy/build one of these, and these, and these, oh and these"..figured some of you have to do this too.
So if you had an unlimited supply of the green stuff ($$$) what are some cars, trucks, bikes, or...

My spindle rubs my bag when lifted and put a hole in the bag, was initially just the drivers side. Apparently I need more lift because the inner tires are wore the fuck out, and I'd rather fix this problem so I can drive higher before I put new tires on

Here are some pics of it when I bought it, since all of my buddies are bodied in my local chapter of the club I decided to have mine bodied as well and add some new shoes while I'm at it hope to pick it up at showfest!

Help me. I've been searching and busting my brain on this because I hate posting noob questions... but I know lots aboot headlights, not this lol.
Plans: some 20's, about .5" of poke past the flares, tires will be stock OD, most likely Cooper Zeon's per J_Corr's recommendation.

As most know, I use tapatalk for almost all my pictures. well, I decided to give a little better picture of the trucks and not bury them in my rebuild thread.
I am no photographer and there is pollen everywhere. so this is the best I'm doing today
Not really GM specific, but I figured there's others with machined wheel that could benefit from this. Picked up my new machined wheels for the Cobra today and just pulled them all out of the boxes to inspect. 2 look great but 2 have some light scratches on the machined faces that won't come out...
Tried looking to make sure that it wasn't already posted and couldn't find anything, if there is already a thread feel free to bash me and direct me to the right place :embarrassed:
Just wondering what your everyone's thoughts were on the GMC/Chevy HD's. I was not impressed in the pictures...
