Working on planned routing for the harnesses. Will not be running the MAF and filter directly off the TB. So that's why I didn't run it with the injectors

Something that really intimidates a lot of people is wiring. This is by far the easiest way to do wire routing. Completely unloom the harness and separate every plug individually. Allows you to route every plug exactly how it needs to be. This truck will have a Snowden bench seat, which makes...
This is the engine trans harness completely stretched out after the redo. This is something that sets this build above the others IMO.

Build update. Comon problem for anyone thats ever owned/built a body drop truck and tried running longtubes knows the driver header barely clears the floor with no modification but the passenger header hits the floor major because of the way the y pipes are designed for these trucks. So I...
This build is still moving along. For those people that aren't IG people to see the progress. Here's a few updated photos. Part of the deal on this build was Brandan was going to handle stuff he felt was in his wheel house. So I delivered the truck back to him and I've made 2 trips down since to...
I understand man. Like I said everyone has their cup of tea. Nothing is wrong with it but you can't get the camber to stay 0⁰ with the same lift as straight axle, so it won't be something I chose to do for one of my builds.

It's just the look. I'm not a fan of any unnecessary camber. Some people are fine with it and thats cool but I just don't like it.
On small chassis suv's I think it's the way to go, but i also wouldn't run any wheels wider than 24x9. You can create sufficient lift with proper camber curve, but...
All the fab work is officially done on the tahoe chassis. Swapped the shorty headers for full longtubes. Turns out even with the lowered engine, the 99-06 speed engineering longtubes will work and do not hang below the bottom of the frame. The exhaust will be cut a little shorter to add turn...
Yeah, the tahoe/suburban and even the avalanches all are really cramped with how the gas tank/4 link/ and frame rails are. It's a challenge when doing these. Surprisingly the doors and rear weren't as bad as I anticipated.
I can make you a set of you need them

Spent some time finishing up all the crossmember fitting and doing the last test fit before it's time for frame prep and powder

I feel like I'm making good time when doing this stuff until i look at the clock and see how long it took to fit 1 piece

Yesterday had a lot of grinding and clean up involved. Had to modify the passenger side upper arm mount closest to the radiator to clear for an a/c line with the lowered engine. Will hopefully have the plates for all the rear notch joints by this weekend so i can add the cross bars for the shock...
