Considering I just bought that wagon... no. Haha my Dad wants the gold Bimmer so I'm selling his (my old) Miata, and then I have to do a head gasket on the 4Runner, and then the motor can start happening agian.

Sounds good to me. I'm sure we can work out a price that makes sense. I'm actually 20 mins north of you now, moved to Clinton about a year and a half ago.

Yup, 3.73s, rear disc, it's rusty but i figure you'll be going through the whole thing anyway. 99% sure the axle isn't rotted... haha What do they go for? Couple hundred bucks?

Fuck yeah dude, glad you finally got it done! Since I'm not even close to being able to get mine done for Carlisle, I think I'm going to push it back to a winter project. At this point, I'd be doing NOTHING but motor work and swapping shit and dialing stuff in until probably late September...

Chris, I may take two years to start working on mine, but god damn. Has your truck really been sitting with no motor for 6 months? I'm ashamed of you. :nono:

If all 3 of us don't have our motors done by Carlisle, we fucking failed. I just finally got my motor into MY garage tonight, tear down starts tomorrow.

That's why I flew all the way to Georgia to buy it haha. And why it sits indoors all winter.

The frame is actually surprisingly in really good shape. It honestly looks way worse than it is because the rust is so obvious with the white paint.

Ah yeah I know how that goes. Traveled for work for over two years... and that's why I still haven't finished my motor haha. And Geoff, no turbo. I've still got other things I like to spend money on, the 4Runner will probably get a mild lift and some off-road goodies in the next few months...

So I recently started a new job that's only 3 miles from home with no travel, and pays a shit ton more than my last job. Which means... Time and money for the 6.0! Gonna pick it up from my buddy's place tomorrow and get started with teardown and measuring shit to figure out what I need to...

For sure man! I'm already looking forward to next year. Always good to catch up and hang out with you guys. I always forget how fucking big all your trucks are. Hey hey hey, the grass was wet and I wasn't expecting it to be so slippery. And I was drunk. Mostly I was drunk. I'm loving...

Painted some shit, it doesn't match, I'll fix it at some point. Got new tires, tinted the windows, still deciding what I want to do with the 6.0, might be a change in my work situation in the next few months that would allow for the budget to grow a bit. Before: Slammed 2001 Chevy Silverado 4x4...

I love them too. But the truck won't have any chrome/polished stuff left on it soon. Not much black either. Got something planned. :secret:

So the Bimmer seems to be solid after replacing the LCA bushings, put about 2500 miles on it driving the shit out of it for work to get them mileage reimbursements. My buddy agreed to buy the 4Runner from me, so that coupled with our fiscal year end bonus means I can start buying truck parts...
