    Khaos' RCSB Thread

When I swapped the 6.0 and did the other work (including the drop shackles) to my Reg Cab I ended up with a vibration between 40-45 mph. Have you figured anything out? Ive tried 2* shims so far with no real change. You will like the 05 brakes...they're a nice swap.

Did not end up taking a lot of pictures of the wiring for the overhead console. I ordered one of the black Aluminum blanks, and we put in 5 switches and a digital volt meter. Light bar and horns mounted. Helping as usual. Hood back on and final check.

    The Old Man's 2500HD

Small update, moving snow at work has kept me busy to say the least. This past week the coolant steam tube between the heads began leaking, replaced it with a Holley part because GM discontinued the factory part. Ended up doing plugs, wires and an oil change while I was in there and had the...

    The Old Man's 2500HD

A lot has changed since I first created this thread as I haven't had time to update it. I left the Sunshine State for Montana and traded off the regular cab to my dad before I left. I thoroughly went through this truck before moving. Mostly maintenance and reliability mods but some appearance...

Thanks bud, we ran 1/2" line from the tank (5 gal long off of a semi) and we used a PacBrake 3.5 cfm compressor. Seems to flow pretty well. My dad made a badass basket to hang the compressor, I got a mudflap and made two shields, one for each side, as the tank is on the passenger and the...

For now that's the plan. I had it rebuilt maybe 35k ago? A local shop did it, corvette servo, HD sunshell and shift kit. I added the factory cooler and had a hydraulic line shop make some lines with the factory push-lock ends. You can sort of see them here. I will also be installing a temp...

Thanks guys, it is appreciated. My dad and I have about a month of nights and weekends in it. They are the Proform LS Valve covers, and the accompanying coil brackets from Proform, although we modified them a little used different hardware on them. They side on a track if you will, so I got...
