Sold the FTS last week and here’s the truck it ended up on

Also where the welds ended up at

I had debated keeping them but much prefer the oem 22s look with spacers after seeing those pics.

Are you still planning on selling the RCSB?

I had gone back and forth on it and was going to keep it for the summer or at least til the baby was here. That may have changed though as my dad is looking for a newer truck so I think he’s going to end up with this one.

Sold the truck to my dad and part of the deal is I’m going to lower it for him first. Not going to do anything too crazy but looking at pulling the level, 2” shackle drop and pulling the rear blocks. Any kit suggestions and possible rear shock suggestions? Any issues with pinion angles at that height? Will be sitting on ck156 22x9 wheels with 285/45/22 tires.

Picked up a belltech 6401 kit so going to start there and see how I like the ride and look. Also picked up a set of 305/45/22 nexen tires today. They may be a bit too big but I do have a set of 285/45/22 Michelin ltxs I can use if that’s the case

Some better pics but the truck is still filthy from the dusty roads. Pretty happy with the outcome, no rub with the 305/45/22 nexens either.

Looks good. Not many people would catch thats it’s not stock but those that do will see all the changes. I like it. Wasn’t able to get a pic, but an older guy in a silver birch cat eye single cab just picked up some parts from us with the same exact recipe. Looked clean as hell

My dad will be 58 shortly so I’m sure he’ll get some comments when he is out cruising in it if the right person sees it. Would have liked to have put a few more miles on it myself this afternoon to see how the ride is but he got so excited when I popped by with it that he wanted to take it himself. I told him to keep it for the week so it’ll be a bit before I can really chime in on how it handles.
