Grandpa runs out from in the cabin and asked what was that sound my truck was making as I backed into my parking spot.

“Nothing Grandpa. Just my air dam plowing rocks”

Something with the steering I believe. I was pulling into a parking lot and the steering got superrrrrrr stiff. Went to try and park and the steering wheel kept locking up and making this high pitched electronic noise. I could just barely turn if the truck was moving. But sitting still, I couldn’t get it to budge. Two hands with all of my weight and it would not move at all. Didn’t want to pay for a tow bill so I tried to limp it back to the cabin we were staying in. Got about 5 miles down the road and it was steering decent and then my brother said he smelled something funny. Pulled over to investigate and saw little puffs of smoke coming from under the hood. By time I got through to 911, the engine bay and cab were a roaring inferno. Fire dept was super quick getting there but the truck was already gone.

It’s the newer synthetic fabrics they just fucking go up, same with home furnishings
Just read when I was getting my new wifi smoke detectors that the average time to get out of a home these days is 3-4min once the smoke detector sounds.
That ain't a lot of time lol.
