Most recent update. Close to having thing enclosed. Just had 32ron if rock delivered. Still need to do some rake, ridge vent, and hopefully have a guy installing doors over xmas break. Neihboor to east is probably 300yds away and Neihboor to west is around 100yds but have a few trees separating us. Next year I'll be planting approx. 400ft of pines And bushes.

As it sits I believe around 9k. For building and doors. I have alot of left over lumber that i debated about tsking back but i might keep it and use it for finishing the inside. I had another 1800$ in fill and and dirt work. $435 in rock and hauling.

Damn! That's cheap. Did you do the labor or is that including labor?

Did all labor with some help. So far all we've hired would be the dirt work and $100to dig post holes. Might hire garage doors to be done, not sure yet

Not much yet trying to decide if I'm going to build after all . My house is to small and would cost me more money to add on then to buy a bigger house . So at a stand still right now if I build the barn my value of the property would be less then what I would have invested

Well this is sort of garage related...

Anyone have suggestions or leads on good drill bit sets? I'm willing to pay several hundred dollars to get a good quality large set.

What kind of bits are you looking for? Metal, wood, etc? Check out mscdirect.com that's who we order most of our stuff at work and they have a wide assortment of drill bits.

No problem. Look for split point 135º or greater drills, they center and start much easier than a standard 118º bit. They carry full sets that have fractional, letter, and wire/number drills. For home use, just stick with a High speed steel bit. They work great and can be easily resharpened with a drill doctor. Let me know if you have any more questions, let me know.

Need to figure out lights for the front still. Would like motion lights of some sort. Since picture we've brought in more dirt and rock and added a parking spot next to building
