Don't mind him, he's just old and bitter. He likes to sit in his rocking chair on his wrap around porch drink keystone and yell at kids

Holy fuckery in this thread. Yeah the holes were a little off on the 6.0 plates that Brian made too. Not a big deal... So what if the hardware tightens down a little sideways. I'm pretty sure on one of my projectors I only used three fasteners. It's a projector that should be siliconed anyway... Not an engine block... Still so confused on who is making the 7.0 plates

I made my own and posted the outline with a reference dimension for anyone who wants to make their own as well. Not sure if anyone is officially mass producing them yet.

Just wrapped up the Morimoto H1 retrofit, clear and hi-4 mod. Super happy with the retrofit and cutoff.

Curious if either of you guys got pics of how you mounted the light bar. Wanting to do it on mine. Also what size light bar?

Thanks for the reply. I missed the post on the 7.0s. Will be getting a set when they are available. I picked up a set of clear denalis so I can dick around with those for a few days instead of the ones on my truck

Did you find the headlights new or used? Just noticed it looks like you have a Denali bumper on your truck, mounting might be different than the Sierra but should give you an idea of how to do it.

As soon as I get the plates I'll test fit them to make sure everything is good then it's just up to him to produce them.

Found the headlights used, they are mint. Previous owner pulled them apart and removed the reflector and painted them some kind of matte gray/silver color.

My truck is a Denali. I did it on my old Sierra, a curved 22 inch like this.

I have had a look at my truck to do something similar to my old one but bigger light bar, I don't have tow hooks so I think I could fit a 34 or 36 inch if I could find one. Just seems a bit more complicated than how I mounted my old one. I've seen lots of guys with denalis do it in the bumper, but no one ever posts details on how they mounted it ...

so according to grandpa Toneh plates are good fit wise. I will be taking the drawing to the shop tomorrow, we will start production early next week assuming all the other tests are passed

Ok, plates fit the projector and the housing perfectly.

Just follow the original install guide for the 6.0s, it's the exact same for the newer 7.0s. Only difference with the 7.0s is you have to trim the little lip on the top and the bottom of the mounting surface of the headlight. The new 7.0s are physically a little larger than the 6.0s and the solenoids are now different.

Also remember to seal the backside up good with silicone so you don't get any moisture in the headlights. Run a good bead around the outside where the adapter meets the headlight and also around the adapter and projector.

There is a decent gap around the plug for the solenoid so use a good amount around that area also. Get your orders in now while you can.
