I'm gunna be finding a lq4 to build for my single cab, I'm gunna put the biggest street able cam I can find or have spec'd out, and I may spend some money on some really nice heads, I also wanna use the lsxrt with a 90mm tb, I really don't have power goals, I'm not gunna do anything to the bottom end, I just want to make a pretty bad ass street/strip truck, but I was wondering if the lsxrt is a good intake for that? like I said I don't have any goals but I would definitely like to be above 400rwhp, and I might add a little 100-125 shot with a nitrous outlet plate kit, just wanted to know if this would be a good intake? Any one used one? Any issues?

I've heard good and bad, I've been told to use a tbss intake but idk what it is I just don't want to run one, I know they work good but I kinda want to run something aftermarket, if it comes down to it I will run one, the truck will be ran on the drag strip on a regular basis and I plan on when I get bored with it eventually long term building a 408

NNBs intake un negotiable gains. Seen quiet a few people over the years loose ET after swap. Just some food for thought.

My lq9 runs stage 2.5 243s and a 231/234 through a stock Intake and TB. Never been to the track, but it runs hard. Im probably leaving a bit of HP off the chart, but when i cant get any traction from 305's in 2nd gear, whats the gains?
