Ive had my MCG kit for about 6 months now, and the other day i heard a weird clunk up front. I checked it out and the lower bushings in the struts are completely rotted out and are basically sitting metal to metal. I contacted MCG and they sent me new bushings for me to have installed.. After receiving the new bushings I realized that they required being pressed in at a specific angle position because of the metal piece that goes thru them. If the bushings are not centered properly it can cause the bushings to be stretched and rip off again. MCG offered to press them in, that is not really an option for me as I cannot afford to be without my truck for 2 weeks +.

At this point I am not sure what to do. I have busy schedule and having a shop do this work is going to cost about the same as buying two new struts. The customer service/warranty is not what I was expecting from MCG.

This issue has brought other problems up such as allignment, and uneven tire wear. :pissed::pissed:

I understand what you are saying by them offering to press them in. but I just dont see how or why I should have to pay for anything at this point. the shocks are 6 months old. Basically asking me to remove the shocks, pay shipping and have to wait 2 weeks. on top of having the truck alligned again..

They could've told you to kick rocks. Not their problem that you're too busy to fix a problem they've offered to help with.

Yep, they don't know if you've driven 30 miles or 30,000 miles in the 6 months they've been on. They sent you replacement parts at no charge and are offering to even install them for no charge, only at the expense of having the truck down.

I would take the struts out yourself and have them pressed in properly. Then get it realigned. Seems like the only way to correct the issues at hand with minimal down.
