    NBS super short bed

I picked up a bed for my truck and its the super short bed. I've been tempted to shorten my frame and run it since I like the look of EXT cab w/ super short bed but I have too many projects and not enough time. Virtually no rust. A little surface rust behind the tail lights but perfectly clean...

    Bedside replacement

I know exactly what you are talking about. I found a truck for sale with one of those beds but I was too late and he already sold it. GM invested a ton of money to make those beds and IIRC they only made them for ~2 years Edit: it was called the Pro-Tec bed and it was all composite

    Bedside replacement

If I didn't have the expensive Line-X, it would be a no brainer and I would replace it. BUt the Line-X is guaranteed for life and I can get it fixed for free whenever I want. The inner fenderwell on mine isn't too bad, and since it shouldn't affect the aesthetics, I'll just fix it. I'm going...

    Bedside replacement

The beautification of my truck has been going well the past 6 or 8 months, looking to keep the momentum going. Prices on rust free beds in NJ are typically high or I have to travel a long distance to pick one up. Has anyone replaced the full bedsides on their truck? I have a fleetside bed and...

    My 70' Nova SS

I love the camaro. What year is it? I'd guess early 80's, '83 or '84? I had an '83 sport coupe, same front bumper sans ground effects. I think in '85 the IROC-Z came out and the front bumper updated without those holes you see in the front. I have a stripped out '88 IROC-Z now. Guy couldn't...

    Frame paint

That came out great! Really nice job! I ended up using a hot water pressure washer and that cleaned the frame and engine bay up in seconds. Then I used some Roloc discs to clean up the rust spots.

    Frame paint

I'm doing their automotive spray primer first, its good for clean metal and lightly rusted, which is what I'll be dealing with. Nothing is super rusty and I'll hit everything with a wire wheel or sand paper before painting

    Frame paint

My neighbor is letting me borrow his hot water pressure washer. I think 3200 psi at 250* will do the trick on the engine bay and frame rails. I'm going to use Rustoleum primer and top coat with Rustoleum. I'll post a few pics when its all done in a few days.

    Cleanoh4's Usually Clean 2004

I did those last year! Just make sure you get LH and RH. IIRC you have to order them separate for some reason. But they work great and are easy to install. And the style sound deadening I used is a really good heat shield. They're water proof and aluminum coated so I plan on using a few in my...

    Cleanoh4's Usually Clean 2004

Nice job on the sound deadening. You're going to love it. I did the roof of mine when I redid my headliner. Just did the floor a few weeks ago. All that is left are the doors and back wall. Already a huge improvement in sound

    Frame paint

There's a million opinions on the subject, I'm looking for first hand experience. Engine is out, going to paint the frame and suspension pcs while I can do it easily. Straight rustoleum will eventually peel off an unpainted frame POR15 I have not had luck with and Ginger has not had luck with...

    Long tube stainless headers

Motor is out. Had the cherry picker taking it out when a storm started rolling in. Seeing lightning in the distance makes you move pretty quick when you're holding a huge hunk of steel. I guess I'm about at the point where I should make a build thread. I'm going to soak the engine bay in...
