Anyone ever use it? Any tint on front roll downs is illegal in Iowa and after having tint again when I went witbout for a few years driving around in a fish bowl will suck. My thoughts are its not held on with glue and its cheap (found 20% for like $12 a roll) so if i get pulled over as im actually pulling over i can rip it off before I'm even stopped and wont have any glue residue left on the window and that can happen quite a few times before it costs the same as the $90 ticket.

I had the static cling about 15 years ago. It worked on if applied perfect. If there was any spot that didn't adhere right it would peel when the windows were rolled down.

More trouble than it's worth honestly. I had it as my first tint on my back glass and looked okay but the clarity thru the film and the overall construction of it would prevent me from every attempting to put it on the front it's very grainy and bumpy just go with a 35-50% on the roll downs

Never even heard of it but I would imagine it'd come right off the first time you rolled the windows down

I had it almost 20 years ago on my first car. It was straight up garbage. Was hell just to get it to stick, and it would ALWAYS come off if I tried to roll the window down. Hopefully it's improved over the years and gotten a lot thinner and sticks to the glass better. If not, it's just a waste of money unless you are borrowing someone else's car for a few weeks and you NEED temporary tint or something like that.

Mine metered 27% and thats what i have all the way around ad still got pulled over. I was stupid for not getting a prescription before they got rid of that in 2012

I have the exemption but they're not always honored anymore, maybe for you as you had to have the vehicle prior to 2012.

Yah I've got 38% on the roll downs that meters at a true 35% so on a regular cab looks very light but still can tell it's lightly tinted. To not get harassed constantly I wouldn't get anything less than a true 35% film so something advertised at 40% VLT

If that is the case some officers will still honor it and others will basically hand it right back and tell you it is worthless. I still hand mine over but rarely get pulled over anymore cause gpa truck. I am still not sure how the state can say that even though a dr. has said you medically need it that they don't feel like honoring it. Commies.
