Quick little update:
Had a couple free days to work on the truck so it got: "new" junkyard headlight lenses, a new driver's side orange marker lens, New Old Stock interior arm rests, door panels put back together and on, window seals, 454ss mirrors, $20 eBay single din radio, and dash finally put back together. All I need to do now to get it inspected and roadworthy is take the seat out, replace seat belts, and I'm going to go ahead and clean and repaint carpet. Engine is actually running decently well after adding a bottle of Bar's Leak ( I know, lol). Truck doesn't smoke white anymore and barely has a puff of blue every now and then. I need to find a day where I can unplug the oil drain holes in the back of the heads, and I have all new spark plugs, wires, and valve stem seals that need to be done. I'd also love to be able to find some R12 freon since the original AC compressor still works. Currently saving for drop(probably going 5/8), shocks, and I still need to polish up the Centerlines.

Wish my interior was "trashed" like that, mines actually trashed, seat is held together with duct tape and I threw a Mexican blanket on it, no headliner, 4 different colors, missing shit, very broken dash. Looks like a fun project but I definitely wouldn't mess with camming a tbi, the heads on the just don't flow.

Yeah, definitely not camming this engine. Anything performance wise will be done once the truck is LS swapped.

Lemme get that seat playa

You don't want it haha. Not pictured is the foot-long gaping hole on the driver's side

Quick little interior update:

Tore the old carpet out, then after I powerwashed the carpet, I used carpet paint to bring the faded carpet back to life I pulled the trashed headliner out and had it professionally redone along with the visors Since the interior was gutted, I insulated the back wall and floor of the truck and wired speaker wire for a sub when I can afford one I then put the carpet back in and put a placeholder $30 Chinese 8" sub until I can afford a decent one covered the trashed seat with a Mexican blanket I had and buttoned the truck back together now that the interior is decent and matching, the truck is now insured, has a license plate, and an up to date inspection sticker. I've been putting some miles on it, and it's running and driving decently. Time to continue to save for tires and drop

Another tiny update: Removed the destroyed, rusted rear bumper and also took off the original spare tire from 1990
I bought some new bumper brackets from LMC and then slapped the $40 rear bumper I got from the junkyard, and then I washed and waxed what is left of the paint on the truck lol
