Awesome!

My mom went through her things and found two more lenses for the Pentax; a 135 f2.5 and a 28 f2. Really looking forward to using both in addition to the 50 f2.

Never shot the 85 on my 5dc, but from your pics, that lens and the pancake 40 are the bee's knees paired with that body.

Excellent as always, like I said on Flickr, the second one is great!

yeah you missed out on that one. Those two are pretty awesome on there. I will probably end up getting rid of my 28-135 as I never have it mounted. But it is handy to have for travel. Maybe my problem is I need to travel more.

ugh this makes me wish i had cool shit to take pics of

You have all that Northern California wilderness. Thats the one part of the state I do want to visit. The golden trout wilderness is pretty high on my want to visit list.

Yeah that 28-135 focal length is pretty damn ideal for travel. Still fairly wide for landscapes but has some reach for portraits/detail shots. But agreed, I probably wouldn't use it much either.

I still have my 28-75 tamaron, but haven't used it in a while... I've been loving primes as of the last few months

We did a family vaca to Yosemite back in 98 or 99 iirc. I was a wee lad then, but I definitely want to go back. From what I remember, it was awesome.

I'd like to, but that's some bucks that I don't have at the moment. I do have my cousin's wedding out there sometime next year. I plan on making a long vacation out of it.

Elevation sickness is fun!! peanut butter crackers help alot, easy to pack, quick to eat and lots of protein replacement.

Still shooting lots of birds, have had 2 of my bird shots explored on flickr within the past 2 weeks
