I'd NEVER again buy a 1st or 2nd model year truck, possibly not even s 3rd year after owning my '08. It was a beautiful truck just non stop problems. The two '11s and '13 were top notch as far as I'm concerned. I can't say enough about em.

I have an 09 hybrid. Owned it right at a year. Put 25k on it and no issues yet other than leaking sunroof seal when I first bought it my cousin has an 08 chevy and it's one thing after another on his
 
Hmm guess I lucked out. My 07 sierra denali has 165,000km, and the only bit of maintenance I have had was driver side upper control arm was slowly going. So replaced that. Couldn't be happier with mine
 
Valid points, the only NNBSs I've had experiences with have all been 07-09. Still don't care for the interior at all tho. Just IMO, but can't stand the LTZ/suv dash (main complaint is radio placement), any lower trim level feels like it came straight from Playskool, and the seats aren't as comfy as NBS seats. NBS fo life nga lol

My GXP liked to eat oil too especially if youdrove it really hard, 1-1.5 qts every 2000 miles was nothing for it Even after it got new lifters under warranty.

My cousins gxp was doing the exact same thing. Heard a lot of the impala SS's would aswell.

165k km? That's only like 45k miles though.
