Fixed that nasty bumper gap tonight. I'll post some more pictures tomorrow of how we did it.
But, for now....

A buddy of mine here locally, recently opened a custom fab shop. So I called him to help me out.

We cut the frame horns off, moved them up 3/4" and welded them back on. We also used some 1" angle iron to add some strength back into it.

Turned out exactly how I wanted it to.

Thank ya!

Not real sure what to do with the mirrors yet... Can't decide between SS sports, or CM'd OEM?...

OEM. I hate ss mirrors. Just look out of proportion.

Still looking for pictures of a white nbs silvy w/ SS mirriors to compare. I found these pictures that show CM'd OEM mirrors.

Looks pretty good!

If I do CM'd Oem, here's my options with what I already have..

I have a set of Oem with the caps that are on the truck now (the caps are pretty rough, dents and what not), and I have a set of WT package Oem's that the glass is scratched to hell.

I could,

A: find replacement caps that are in good condition, then have them painted.

Or....

B: Paint the WT mirrors and use the good glass from the other Oem's.

I'm not sure how the WT mirrors look painted? I have never seen them done (not saying it hasn't been done, just haven't seen it...)

Here's what the WT mirrors look like. All 1 piece housing.

The more I sit here and think about it, I think I will get a can of white plasti-dip, and shoot one of each style Oem mirror.
Then I will have a better idea of what each will look like, and be able to just peel the plasti-dip off when I'm done.

I say paint the none w/t mirrors all white. Then if you want to down the road swap out the caps for chrome and vise verse
