No. I say just different paint, different wheels, different bumper, add a bumper to the rear and I would rock it with a few minor changes. I'm just not into crazy looking trucks. I like them clean and simple..... but props to you cody.

Anyone ever run stainless airlines? Buddy owns a shop that makes auto tube benders and has piles of 1/4", 3/16" 5/15" and 3/8" pipe in 6' and 10' lengths plus all sorts of braid laying around and said I can "take what u need" Doing fuel and break lines for sure, wasn't sure about the air lines though.... Thoughts?
 
it will be the same as copper line. most people use copper becuase it is much easier to bend. IMO its pointless unless you're going to leave all the lines open to see. If you cover them up, you will have pretty much the same durability as my 3/8" 2 wire 3000 psi hydraulic line.
 
pain to do, or pain afterwards to maintain, work around, etc? I was an electrician for 7 years, LOVED bending pipe so this project kind of got me excited. I know, I'm sick in the head.

the biggest pain is learning how to measure for the bends. If you already know that, then it shouldn't be any big deal. I just think it takes way too much time unless you're leaving it open to see.

As far as the stainless lines go, i think its a great choice! very durable, and sounds like you have some experience bending id go for it!
Ive copper hardlined some now and id say i could probably hardline a truck in 2-3 hours now it dont take that long. well worth it it looks cool too.
 
I have stainless hardline on my truck. stainless braided swagelok lines coming off each bag and all swagelok fittings. Only soft line i have is for my gauges. I have all 5 lines inside 12" or 5/8" rubber hose to keep it a little more protected.
 
From whatever that could possibly take out one of those little dinky lines. And from rubbing the frame/body as it runs along the underside of the cab.
 
tis not over kill, I like his style. I will admit it; first time around truck was half assed. NOT this time.

It would be a waste of money if something still ruptures the line. If nothing ever happens then its not a waste.

Maybe one day you will build a truck the right way the first time and actually enjoy it. Instead of riding around cali'd as fuck because you aren't tubbed and can't lay.

I don't usually get into these arguments but the fact that you are hating on wicked's decision to build his truck with extra protection because he drives it daily and your truck is far from the point his is, is appalling to me.

You shouldn't try to put someone down when you aren't even to the same point in a build as they are.

Wanna see sone pics of that... Do the hardline connects to braided line then connects to bag?
 
What exactly is going to rupture a stainless hard line that's not going to go through a piece of rubber?
Oh and btw those weatherproof relays coming up on that 6 month anniversary still going strong

And I ride Cali because I like riding Cali... I had my damn signature made by cub with the truck Cali before I even bagged the truck cause I like cali

And who bagged their truck perfect their first time doing it by themselves?
