I got a deal that I couldn't say no to. Really good family friends with the lady that runs the local dealer and I got this right off the trade lot. I got top trade offer on Denali, and got below trade value price on van.

1% lower interest rate, 5yr 60k mile Max Care warranty, 80k less miles, fully loaded. Traded and financed $500 more than I owed on Denali including warranty, dealer fees, and everything.

Payment went down $60 a month (same terms) and insurance is $25 a month less. Seemed like a great family trips ride, it is super comfy, and having the Max Care warranty should be great for the long run.

Absolutely not joking, and the payment difference had nothing to do with the choice. I was to the point that I didn't enjoy the Denali, we always took the wifes accord. I have vehicle ANXIETY about shit going wrong, so I wanted to get something with a warranty. That piece of mind was important to me. After driving the Van I really enjoyed it. We took one on vacation recently and I fell in love with the ride, drive, and functionality of it.

I know it makes no sense, because most of my buddies just don't understand. Shit after I test drove this one, I couldn't fathom that I was legit thinking about doing it. I honestly enjoy the van a lot and I enjoy having something that I worry less about, but it still super comfy and nice to drive. I for once put my own wants/likes to the side and bought the best vehicle for practicality IMO.

With that said, the only two things I miss are the window tint and the power of the 6.2L. Tint will be done tomorrow, and I drive like an old man and can deal with the v6 versus the 6.2L.

lesbihonest, we all know B....it'll be gone in 8-10mo. :ermahgerd:

just bustin balls, im looking fwd to our carnival tbh. The convenience of this style of vehicle for toddlers thru pre-teen yrs will go unmatched.
That is exactly what the wife said. She said "it isn't like this is a permanent thing". I hate it, because I wanted the Denali to be in my driveway for a long time and to slowly mod it. After about 6 months I realized I just didn't really care about it. I enjoyed the power, but I didn't think it rode/drove all that good, and the DOD/AFM and 8 Speed trans issues were always in the back of my mind. I knew that I wasn't in love with it anymore and having to drop 2-3k if something went wrnog constantly worried me.

I can honestly say that I am excited to drive the van and use it for how it was intended. We have 3-4 family trips planned in the next few months and I have a STRONG feeling this will be much more enjoyable for us (although I HATE that it is black).

Haven’t been on in awhile. Still have my cammed Yukon. Nothing new aside from maintenance. Avalanche is a pos I don’t want to mess with. Bought a super clean nbs ecsb 2500 for cheap at 2k. Lifter tray cracked and spun the lifter and ate the cam up. Pulled it and dropped a 5.3 in it. Basic maintenance and daily drive it for 3 weeks and someone offered a chunk (9500) so I sold it and picked up this trade in at work. 2011 with 102k miles for 14,500. Really clean truck aside from the roof. Couldn’t find anything in as good of shape or as low miles as this so I jumped on it. Will be painted before any mods get done.
