Used this 4x4 1986 Toyota Pickup to pull my buddy out of the ditch in his 2003 F250. I was shocked that it could do it.

Well the Toyota went back to my buddy. I was thinking it would be a good first vehicle for my son but my wife wants something with more safety features. ABS, airbags, traction control. My buddy was excited to have it back. I did a ton of work to it and he still has plans for more. The biggest work was removing the leaking windshield, having the rust repaired, and getting the windshield put back in with a chrome delete seal. Looks much better now! It also got a new starter and starter wire, tires, RF axle, front rotors and pads, cleaned and repacked wheel bearings, and more.

This 2001 GS430 was left at my shop. A kid had it towed to me from another shop for an engine replacement. Once he found out how much it was going to cost, he abandoned the idea. Rather then pay for the diag and tow, he sent me the title. (Which was in the person’s name who owned the car two owners before with the last owner filled in on the dealer section ) I had a low mileage engine out of a 2005 LS430, and this car had all the safety features to help ease my wife’s mind about my son learning to drive so I decided to make it his. This thing fought me every step of the way. And I’ve still got more to do. From the exhaust being welded to the headers and the cats, to the exhaust valves being broken off in the cylinders so that I couldn’t rotate the engine to get out the torque converter bolts, all the way down to completely swapping the harness, main and sub oil pans, and all the accessories. Got it all back together, tagged and insured. My son is really enjoying it. I added a Grom Bluetooth adapter so that he can be hands free when he’s driving and can stream music. There’s still more that I have to do but that will come in due time. Here’s some pics of the process. My son even helped.
