Really missed having a truck. So I picked up this 05 avalanche today. 160k miles. In pretty good shape. Aftermarket double din was wired wrong and ran the battery down. Passenger side blows hot air. So I fixed that and recalibrated the hvac actuators and now blows cold on passenger side. Talked him from 7500 down to 6k for it. A little more than I wanted to spend but I refuse to have a 600+ note for a newer truck.

Never been a fan of avalanches but at least it has the truck front end and it looks super clean for 6k. 6k trucks around here are garbage

I've been thinking about that exact piece for my trailer for a while. Let me know what you think of it and what its limitations are.
It would be great to keep my batteries topped off

I am impressed so far. I made it into a quick diconnect plug out my grille so i can quickly plug n go when im camping. With my fridge and camp lights on for 4 hours. it started at 12.3v and ended at 12.7v

Was headed to the shop the other day and passed this 98 Tacoma base 5-speed. Running and driving truck. Picked it up for $600 for my son. It needs some work but that was the goal. He has already changed the oil, set the tire pressures, did an inspection to make a list of needed repairs, and replaced a front upper ball joint. Plus he’s had a few hours practice on driving a manual. He’s only 13 so we have time to get the truck ready for him when he starts to drive.
