I jus got rid of my 24s lol. Kept cracking. Stepped back down to 22s

yeah man thats my plan too. Planned on selling these 24's even before i bent them, so now i gotta repair it before getting rid of them haha. I was going to run a full set of oem 17's for now but i had the problem of the rim hitting that caliper bolt, so im still thinking about what my options are.

Cut the lower ball joint threads down and get a shorter nut for it and you should be able to run 17s. Thats one thing you have to do on nbs 17+ spindles even though they advertise them to work with 17s.

That was directed at nickieprado fgt. Yours may be different since its 4wd. For instance, nbs 4wd has to run 17+ spindles because of the cv's. 2wd can run 16s.

I bet it would still be close on 18s if it clears at all. Im sure itll need to be trimmed either way.

Little update so far. Chrome door handles, stock headlights, color matched tailgate and front bumper. Did some interior work as well, selling these 24s and temporarily going on stock 18s this weekend.

Anybody have pics of 22x10s on 265/40s with a 4/7 drop. Im trying to decide what tire size to get for spring and found a set of 265s on CL but not sure of how theyll look or if theyll rub.

Edit: Im mostly seeing 22x8.5s upfront on 265s not x10s

Ehhh. My dub skills were 22x9.5 on 285/35s a hair smaller and a bit wider

i think 265 would be best but will it look stretched on a x10?

I'd say it'd be close

quick question. so im 5/9 on a cnotch, and i was wondering if getting a stepnotch or a higher notch in would help when it comes to bottoming out? When its just me in the truck and nothing loaded on it, the bottoming out is sustainable. But if i have like two passengers or a heavy load in the back, it bottoms out really nasty all the time. Any idea how i could make my ride a little better?

Do you use your bed a lot? I need to get an under bed notch for mine but I have helper bags. I always have something in the bed plus my family in the truck. Lol.

If its that close then a bigger notch would be a good idea. You could get stiffer shocks to help with it when its just you but they wont make a big enough difference when you have extra weight in it. Helper bags are a good idea on any slammed truck imo.

Rear is done. No idea what it measures out to so far. I forgot to get a base line fender to hub. It already had drop shackles so i just moved them to 1" and did a flip kit. Theoretically it should be 8" but i havent been around enough lowered nnbs to know for sure lol.

Its raining now so the front probably wont happen today. Depending on how the front settles i may throw my stock shackles back in the rear.

Alright quick question. so the best shop i found for tubs is charging 450 for front tubs and around 600 for rear tubs, so thats like a $1000 investment. Im a college student, broke as fuck, barely making a living, paying rent/bills, etc. all that crap, so im like shit i cant afford that haha. I took my wheel liners out up front, and i was planning on doing the cut outs for the rear tubs, and using the wheel liners (trimming and fitting them) to cover up the cut outs on the rears, holding them in place with screws or something. The wheel liners that i took out basically have the same shape as tubs too. Never seen this before, i probably sound stupid as hell, and itll probably look ghetto. Is this a bad idea? cant afford tubs so im prioritizing the cheaper way haha.
