what is your reasoning for doing a triangulated 4 link? Wishbone 3 link the truck and leave the factory tank where it is.

Another vote for 3 link (or 2 link), and leave the gas tank where it's at. Just raise it up an inch and a half and call it good. It's very easy to do.
Don't be that guy that rolls around with his stock gas tank in the bed.....

Local guy has his gas tank in the bed of the bagged colorado that he bought "finished". Held in by ratchet straps and sitting on 2 bars that look like what you'd hang a furnace from a ceiling with

I understand budget builds... But don't hack your shit up just to get it done.. Shit is ridiculous.

There isn't a bed floor in it either, and has a homemade tonneau cover. No tubs in the front fenders either.

OP, I'd go with Tukn4's suggestion though. Seems to be one of the, if not the, most knowledgeable members here on the forum on the subject.

Yeah you should be able to use the same lower link bars. Just go from the factory hangers. If you do bag on bar make sure you center it on the width of the bar. To do this youll have to notch the frame for the bag. If you offset it on the bar youll twist the piss out of the bar
