So this weekend I installed a flip kit on my 2005 crew cab Silverado! Looks insane, but has a vibration ( go figure right? )

I have a 3* shim in it right now and there is not vibration while city driving ( as far as I can tell anyway ) but there is a vibration at wide open throttle from around 4000 - 5500 rpm, and a vibration at 80 plus.

The WOT vibration is really bad, like a shudder. The vibration at 80 plus feels like a cell phone on vibrate ( maybe not as bad but noticeable ). Other then that the truck rides amazing!

I am running a 3/5 drop with 265/50/20 on 20" Centerline Snipers
The rear is flipped with adjustable hangers ( 4 & 5 Inch ) on the rear of the leaf spring.
The front is Spindles and coils
Ground force shocks on all corners with extensions on the rear

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Unless you have proper driveline angle measurements there is nothing we can do for you.

IT just needs to be setup properly. my CC at 4/6, 5/7, blown has zero vibrations ever

I just ordered a measurement deal from summit so this weekend I will see what it is at.

We noticed the nose of the rearend tends to sit up a bit so I am guessing it needs more angle on the shim. I will eventually figure this out cause it will bother the hell out of me

Its VERY annoying trying to drive 75-80 and you feel/hear the damn thing vibrating.

What did you order? Harbor Freight has a digital angle finder thing that seems like would work. I think Tremec has an app to help you determine you pinion angle as well.

i st my BT flip up with their shims and I never had vibe issues except for 90mph or more, and that was simply the driveshaft, and it did it before the drops

Thanks for the help guys! When my angle tool comes in ill see where it is and hope I can solve the problem with a bigger angle shim.

Now if I could just fix the chevy lean and get rid of the vibration... Oh, and roll the fenders, then mini tub the front... Ohhhh the lowered life frustrations
