ended up upgrading the subbie by buying a new subbie? rofl.

Had a friend with a maroon GC rs that he did a wrx swap with 6spd, and brakes. He just sold it a few months ago and got into jeeps.

buddy has a maroon early 2000's legacy wagon with a full STi drivetrain swap with a few custom pieces. it was stolen, and recovered and now they are rebuilding it. Needs all new intercooler piping as it was all one off.

niceeeee. im jealous. what did you do with your old car? trade it in? any details on this beauty.

It's pending sale within the next week, just have to find a day that my schedule and the buyer's matches up.

New car is:

2013 WRX Premium with all options besides leather and nav, 28,000 on the clock. EXTREMELY clean and very pleased overall. I drove a '12 WRX Premium with nav on sunday at the same dealership, called monday and it was sold. They had this one too and I went up last night to drive it and talk some numbers. Ended up where I wanted to be payment wise and picked this up today.

The cool thing is since it is a '13, it is still under the factory 3yr/36,000 mile warranty, which I chose to extend for the full 7yr/100,000 mile warranty. So it's covered til 2020 or 100k.

Plans for now are just drive it and enjoy a new(er) stock car. It's already tinted, so I don't have to do that. I'll be buying snow tires in a few months for it. I will do the Nameless Axleback and some minor cosmetic stuff by next spring just for some sound.

nice dude, enjoy it! :shake: should be a fun little car, definitely different route from the LBZ you were looking at. let me know how you like it, i'm looking at different things lately.

I mean, I would've liked having another 4wd truck and a diesel, but I think I would've missed the convenience of a car and it just being a blast to drive.
