Well... Got home from work this morning and noticed that the lip on my valance is broken. :eek:kay:
Gonna leave it on unless it gets worse but damn, the fucker only lasted 2.5 days. :rage:

So most of you know I hit a curb back in September. Started a new job that is graveyard and I dozed off on the way home one morning. Bent 2 of my Tahoes and blew out the tires, broke my rear exhaust hanger, bent the passenger fender, blah blah. Well ever since then from the passenger side of the truck it looks like a banana as Ryan says. Assumed the frame got bent since it's notched. I checked it out a while back and couldnt find where it was bent but the sun was going down, so today I decided to do some more checking.
Frame isn't bent anywhere like I initially thought. Went ahead and set the right shackle to 2" drop (had it at 1" for Chevy lean) but ever since I hit the curb the right rear has been sitting a little higher. Set the shackle to 2" and it still looks the same but if I jack the truck up and put the rear of the frame on jackstands and let the weight off the Jack the bed sits straight. But when it's sitting on its own weight it looks fucked.

Anybody have any idea what the problem could be? It's annoying as hell and it makes me not even want to drive it lol.

That's reason #2 why I sold my obs. Bitch sat crooked but had no visible bends or breaks in anything and everything looked normal. I hated driving it in traffic because I knew everyone was staring. Cab was straight but the rear passenger corner sat ~2" higher than the other side. Fuck if I know.

Hope its a simple fix bro!

My next step was gonna be taking the bed off and measuring the frame to the ground.

Everything was pretty square before the wreck?

That would bother me so much. Lol. Itd be a pain in the ass but is there any way to modify the bed supports so that it sits right again?

Yea everything looked good.

I've debated doing it already. I'm thinking maybe one of them got bent because when I hit the curb the truck actually got airborne and when I landed the top of the bed hit the back of the cab.
It is really bad and it makes me hate driving my truck lol.

Bit of a delima. Dude on insta wants to trade me trucks. Didn't really think he was serious at first but he has yet to stop messaging about it. I told him about the problems mine has and he still wants to trade. Awaiting pictures of the whole truck and whatnot but it's a black 99 ecsb with an 06 front, looks to be 4/6 on ltz 20s. Said he just had $800 worth of tranny work done (will ask to see receipt), has vette servo, Gibson headers and 3" exhaust. Biggest con is that it has 239k miles. It's a lot of miles but he'd give me $1500 plus his truck so that money would be for engine rebuild.

Pros-
-clean title
-2wd
_looks to be pretty clean
-already has some shit done

Cons-
-mileage obviously
-older interior

Will update when I receive pictures. Just wanted to get some opinions.

What could you get for your truck if you sold it as it? More or less than the value of his + 1500?

Id check it out thoroughly if he wants to get rid of it that bad imo.
