For the 03-06 Silverados with center consoles, the upper trim pocket/panel piece, will an Escalade piece go in and flow with the rest of the console?

EDIT...I found the answer to my question. No you cannot. I assume the Escalade consoles are completely different. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Link to an Escalade console on ebay...

I was wanting to make a new gauge pod panel and wondered if I could use the Escalade trim piece. I'm gonna say it won't work too well.

Nvm, had them mixed up in my mind lol. Esky's look best, but I agree with billeh about lids

If the upper panel would work on a truck console, I'd build some fiberglass gauge pods on the top where the clock and little cubby hole is and paint the center red to match. The flat area of that trim piece would be nice to build off from.

The escalade consoles have perf leather on the lids, would look better if they had smooth leather instead. I took an escalade console apart at the junk yard and I'm gonna say that it's not a direct swap, but maybe with some trimming the front piece may fit on there

IIRC Corny did something like that in his console with 4 gauges, turned out nice.
