Sounds good man, I need my idle bumped down also. Mines around 800-900, but Nelson performance says they don't send theirs out that high, it's something else. :/

There's a guy around Shreveport that tunes all the local stuff via efi, I think I might just bite the bullet and let him do it, instead of driving 8 1/2 hours to San Antonio.

Not much lope to it, but I like it that way. 5.3, 212/218 low lift, Headers and ORY with a 22" Magnaflow DI/DO.

Hng Brandon. That's what I'm looking at. Did that cam wake it up quite a bit or do you wish you had went bigger? Drop in mpgs?

The cam itself netted me a decent gain, if I were planning on doing a cam only setup I would've gone bigger but I was expecting to go with better flowing heads later on. Once we put the 243s on there was a massive gain, fun as hell. Overall my MPGs dropped from about 16.5 to 13, some of that was due to more aggressive tuning, and I went to a high octane tune. If I wanted more noise I wouldve gotten a high lift cam, but for my DD needs this is perfect. Adding the NNBS intake to it would make it complete, but I needed x-link and at the time nobody made/i didnt know about the cheaper option to adapt the the larger TB.

Thought you were selling truck in a year?

what about only doing bolt-ons? lt's, cai, efans, and a tune?

why do all that then sell it...? you wont get any value out of them at resale, if youre keeping for awhile go for it, if youre selling it in the next 16mo save your cash for a down payment on your next truck.

this. ask me how i know... I wish i left my truck stock and saved funds for my next truck. I'd keep it simple and cheap Tex, LTs, e-fans, intake, port/polish stock tb, tune. I got my oem fans, 34'' radiator and harness for $125.
