NBS 99 07 interior thread

brett, you find it a pain in the ass to upkeep painted stuff? mine stays dusty or covered with pollen most of the time.

damn some nice interiors in here, for you boys up north... hell even south, while u got your interior gutted reach down the cab cornor and feel the foam if its wet or not, that is a big reason cab corners get shot :fyi:

anyone have pictures if black carpet, after market shit they swapped in?

It does get dusty but not that bad if I don't keep the windows down sitting still. Turtle wax makes stuff called black detailer. Works awesome on black and dark colors for a quick wipe down.

I have the slt visors with the slide out second piece visor and want to paint them black to match

Use bulldog adhesion promoter with everything to avoid it. I understand some paints say they are equipped with a flex agent but I've never had a single issue out of bulldog adhesion promoter which is also a flex agent.

so changed my mine..dont think dark charcoal gray will flow with black painted pieces...thinking of painting black pieces dark charcoal gray including console lid and rest of the of the stuff(upper dash, glove compartment, kick panel, and air bag) same color it is but painted) what yall think? or air bag dark charcoal gray also?

heres a pic

Cheap primer,no flex
Acrylic Laquer DO NOT USE
Its only good for hard surfaces
Put it under the slightest bind and it shits on you

I think I will be painting my center console and dash bezel black since the soft touch is pealing....Want to go black, I guess if I don't like it I can always go back to the stock color only painted...
