i have a buddy dropping his ECSB and wants to know what drop he will acheive with hangers and drop shackles 1" or 2". i beleive he said he will not be using a flip kit either so i wanted to see if you guys can help out with this. he also said he read somewhere is he using just the hangers and stock shackles it would bring him down to 5" which sounds to easy to be true. any input would be great.

Hangers are good for 2" and shackles for 1-2" so the most he'll get is 4" out back

Planning a 2/4 drop for my 11' silvy 4x4. What is the cheapest/easiest way to drop the front. For the rear I'm planning shackles and pulling the block.

Well to start off level you need to pull the block so if you drop the front 2" with spindles or coils then shackles in the rear you are still gonna have 2" rake. You will need shackles and hangers plus the block removed in the rear.

Just a little confused by that. So if I pull the rear blocks and use a lowering shackle, I will still need drop hangers? I was under the impression that just the blocks and shackles were pretty close to 4". I'm a 4x4 btw.

These trucks have rake from the factory, by pulling the factory block (which is 1.25" not 2") it will sit level. Then to drop it and keep it level you need 2/4 after the block is removed

OK, didn't know that the 2/4 was from level, not factory. Thank you for clearing that up. Now to find some drop hangers.
