Making an LBZ Look Halfway Decent on a Teenager's Budget

I don't really know a whole lot about Dmaxs or Allys but I do remember a lot of guys talking about a TransGo Jr kit for the Ally was one upgrade that was cheap and effective

Kinda interested iam going to google some stuff on transgo and other shift kits I might get back to you with what I find

Stupid ass gasser with a question here, how hard is an EGR delete on a LBZ? Anyone have any write ups on how to do it? Any specific kit I should buy?

I think there are kits, but I believe you can get all the parts you need at a hardware store for much less. Let me ask my duramax buddy.

I know what EGR is, what is the PVC system and what are the benefits of deleting it?

Keeps excess oil out of your intake. Stock the blowby would drain into your intake to get reintroduced and burned off. This just drains it out to wherever you run the hose to. Keeps it out of your intake.

Some people swear by it, some people swear it doesn't hurt anything stock. I would personally rather the oil drip on ground then running it back into my intake.

O cool, so it's like the crank case vent tube. Ill definitely do that. Its PCV and not PVC isn't it?

I want to 4wd boosted launch, but I know ill fuck shit up. On a fairly stock truck will just tie rod sleeves be enough? What are other weak points in the front end?

Just 4wd launch it! If something breaks then fix it! Don't you want to fit in? Seriously, most of my mild sled pulling buddy's just run sleeves. You should be fine with that for the time being.

I would, but the only problem is that this truck is my daily driver, and I have to make it to work and school everyday, i can't afford to have this truck down. and another problem is I dont have the money ATM to buy em if they break, so i want to upgrade them when the money is right.

Sleeves should be fine for you, no reason to go overboard then with a budget, and no real reason for more strength...unless you are drag racing and sled pulling frequently you will be fine.

Thinking about taking this truck a different direction. I'm a die hard lowered truck guy, and everytime I thought about leveling this truck I started liking it less and less. I think I'm still going to do the LML 20s, but with the Mcguaghys 3/5 drop. Any input?
