Bagged NNBS (GMT-900 07-13) thread..

Lolol.
I could never buy a already done truck. Unless I'm fucking ballin like Adjusted but that's no fun. The fun is building it up yourself through the years.

Will not disagree. I am working one as we speak. Just saying that in an overall perspective..

I could not disagree more.

Ive been building bagged trucks for myself for 16 years now, Im sick of building them for myself. I design and build parts every day of my life for other peoples bagged trucks, i build chassis and frames for other peoples bagged trucks every day. I plain and simply just do not care to spend the time "building" my own truck anymore.

Soooooo Heres mine...

short story. this truck was a customers out in Oregon, it was the absolute first Jeebus Joint flat plate arm set i had sold waaaay back in 2007, and also had the first rear kit i offered for the 07+ Trucks...., the customer bought the truck new, and wanted to bag it. 6 years later, after 59k miles on the kit, i found out he was selling the truck, and i had been in the market for a new project, so i had him drive it out here to me in michigan, and i bought it from him. It was great, i got a well built truck with parts i personally built, designed and welded, and i didnt have to have 6 months of down time building it.

I just put some 26" Giovanna Pegg wheels on it this week, and Im going to put the new style arms we offer on the truck as well, with billet caps and all, some interior mods for audio and an ipad in the dash, then shoot some fresh paint on it, and drive the wheels off of it.

Nice truck....thing is dragging nutz!

I understand this theory, but buying an already built truck isn't always a bad thing.. If the truck you buy was built right, and attention to detail was paid, showcasing nice work (no matter who built it/owns it now) is always going to be acceptable.

This is only my opinion, but I think people are quick to judge someone for "buying a built truck", instead of seeing it for what it is...

That being said! I do not personally know this Josh Miles guy, but I have heard that he knows nothing of what he is doing with that truck..

I could care less if you buy a completed or near-completed vehicle (unless they are one of those people who claim its THEIR work), but if you do its my opinion that you should know the ins and outs of most things that have been added to the vehicle - this guy asks questions and talks in a way that shows he does not have basic knowledge of air suspension and therefore he does not know his own truck (i spoke to LIL ACE breifly at my old job). Thats what I dont like, im not judging - im stating facts. Im not saying I know much about this stuff, but Im damn confident that I know more than the basics and that i can repair anything that happens to my truck.

Do what? Have you SEEN my simple 5yr build? Aside from the metalwork there isnt one thing on that truck I havent installed myself.

:word:

I'd buy an already built truck if the price was right, but then I'd have to rebuild it.

LOL! This is true.. I think if you didn't change anything on a truck you bought that was already built, then it's still "that guy's" truck.

We have gotten off track... Back to the Bagged NNBS pictures!!

idk why, but every time i see it, i think its a photoshop or a rendering of some sort. It looks......funny.... Not haha funny, but.... hey, something is wrong here funny.
