Unpainting wheels

Got a set of 22 inch U2 55 bm wheels. I hate the black and wonder if I could strip them somehow if I could polish them up after or are they not gonna polish. I can't keep them clean and their getting scratches. Any info would be appreciated.

If you strip them and have them powder coated do the chrome powder coat. It looks like polished aluminum.

Plasti dip actually has some good options if you wanted like a factory look to them. I wouldn't use it as a permanent solution. Chroming will be expensive as fuck. Chrome powder may be cool

paint stripper and let it soak may take a few rounds.


if you blast them, they will look like shit chromed because the blasting will leave a rough surface.


IMO just buy other wheels
