Sams daily but kinda modded truck

With some help from Anthony on FORscan i was able to install and activate the OEM Trailer Brake Controller.

Unfortunately with Ford changing a few things in 2018 i am getting a TBC Fault upon start up which is caused by not having fuse pins in the TBC slot in the fuse panel. So i need to run an accessory wire for this to be able to have power and all should work just like OEM.

Overall really easy and glad that Ford has made it so easy to be able to get in and change settings and add things like this. Although its a little frustrating that Ford does not have my fuse panel activated in a WT like vehicle with a tow package pre installed.

Little update,

traded in the old F150 for a 2020 Lariat. Same exact color. This one is going to be fun.

Went with a smaller company logo this time as we dont necessarily need a large one on the door. We just need a logo representation and license # for the union to be satisfied.

This color is nuts in the sun

installed a 2.5" leveling kit. Next up i need to decide if i want to pull the trigger on raptor takeoffs or some racelines and 315s.

Ordered a Yakima Overhaul HD Bed rack for when i take it camping, that way i can throw tent on and remove all in same weekend and easily. I wont be doing anything as crazy as i did with the 4runner but at least i can still go hit some dirt and enjoy the outdoors without impacting my work efficiency.

This bed rack, it will be nice to also have the bed open for hauling anything. My camping totes and firewood will be a big thing.

With my tent being long, it needs to be adjustable to go over the cab. But it will look similar to this once on for trips.

They come off easily with a 10mm allen and then unclip from the bed sides. Will really be nice and easy to swap it into weekend mode.

Here is the end goal for visuals, minus black wheels.

Yeah my boss special ordered a ‘20 in a weird combo. ECSB Lariat 4x4 3.5 EB. He test drove a few trucks, didn’t want a coyote, loved the 3.5 more than the 2.7. He wanted a 6.5’ bed for but wasn’t sure about a crewcab. I tried to talk him into a CC 6.5’ truck but he didn’t want something that long. They don’t have kids so ECSB it was, but nobody stocked a lariat in that combo. Took like 3 months to get built.

I’ve driven it a couple times and it’s fantastic. The interior is so nice and comfortable, the 3.5/10-spd combo is amazing. It’d be a tough choice for me between that and a Ram

I cant do a Ram because their roof bolster across the headliner. Hits me square in the dome causing me to kink my neck.

Jelly. This bodystyle is more aggressive IMO opposed to the '21. But maybe i just havent come across one that has been done right yet.

I agree. I don’t like how they went back to the ‘09-14 (or whatever year range that was) tail light shape, not sure on the fender vents/front end and hate the mirrors. ‘15-20 is much better looking

Love the color, go black wheels. Wish I could justify getting one just like that.
