Finally got started re-building my truck. Heres the trucks story:
Got the truck back in late 05' with 90k on it, and dropped it 2/4 the day I brought it home. Did a few other things here n there but always wanted to bag it. So I bought a used KP-4link kit with SMC valves and firestone bags from a guy, and friend and I bagged it on all 4 corners about 4 years ago. I soon became so unhappy with the air management and a few other things that I took it apart after about a year and went back to a static setup (4/5, 4/7) with plans to go back to a better quality setup soon. Then life got in the way; when I had the time, I didnt have the place or money. When I had the money, I didnt have the place or time. College, girls, job, other vehicles and projects, you all know the deal. I finally got life settled down and was able to get started on doing the truck right this year. I already had installed the rear kit when I moved into the house last summer but that was as far as I got, so this all starts with the rear done with no air management.

Plans are:
-install Accuair e-Level with VU4
-bag front with shocks
-clean up, and add bracing to rear frame work
-lower frame horns to accommodate an HD grill/cap swap, then color-match entire front end
-misc. interior mods/paint
-repair various problems with my bed, and add a rollpan
-swap 8k HIDs w/ 5k's, get new bumper lights, LED tails
-whatever else i decide to attempt to extend this projects timescale...
-drive the shit out of it, im dying to be low and get some v6 mpg again...

Here are its very early stages, I dont have any/didnt take any pics of the other drops, etc.

Optima red top: FREEBIE! Doing some final battery wiring here

I know its all messy at the moment, cleaning up wiring, frame, and motor are all things to come. Plans is to be at a finished point (fully driveable, put together with HD front and paint) by April 28th. Prolly wont happen .

Also finally decided on an interior paint color: GM Cardinal Red Metallic, color came out recently I think (2010-ish), and its just what ive been lookin for; a deep red that isnt sport or maroon.
Comes on Colorados and HHRs for sure, not sure what else.

Made alotta progress this weekend, shouldnt be too far out from it getting on the road - then ill just need paint.

I hope you are planning on changing spindles since you put the lower ball joint back in the stock direction. I would actually hope to see you change to a stock spindle or new belltech or McGaughy spindle. If you plan to keep the spindles you have, you need to change the lower ball joint orientation.

thanks for pointing that out man, forgot about that . Ive decided to stick with the spindles ive got for now (2505), and see how they do - if im slightly unhappy once i get shocks put on ill swap to the McG's.

Got my UCAs all done and balljoints installed (flipped from stock location), been painting more front end stuff slowly - Ill update when i bolt some other stuff on. Also found some airline for cheap to finish off the plumbing.

Anyone know where I can find a good price on wire loom, Id rather be able to go into a store somewhere and just buy what i need in the size i need - not have to buy in a pack, etc.? Thanks

Brandon, holler at me when your doing some work and if I ain't got shit else to do then I'll come out and help out.... or just watch haha.

should be a clean truck, love how rcsb look bagged

How hard is it for people to realize that when you are abbreviating something you use the " ' " as a substitute for the missing letters/numbers. '01 sorry, just see it too often and its aggravating haha

carry on
