I see that this is an old thread, but I figured this is the one for my questions. I have a 2003 Silverado extended cab with a 2 1/2" RC leveling kit. I'm looking to install 305/55R20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's, and wonder what type of trimming might be needed...will I be able to get away with no trimming? Thanks in advance.

You'll need to trim the bottom corner of your valence near the tire for sure, and depending on what wheels you're running (all depends on the offset and backspacing), you may have to trim the plastic inner fender front and rear.

I had 305/55/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers on 20x9s with 1.5" spacers and had to trim a good bit to fit them. Then I put a 1.5" bodylift on, wish I would've done that first so I wouldn't have had to trim so much

Thanks for the response; how much time is involved - guesstimate - worst case. Is it all pretty much plastic trim then? I've done a lot mechanically, but never trimmed for wheel fitment before.

BTW, these are 20x8.5s with a slight neg offset that bump the tire out about an inch more than factory from what I can tell (got the wheels used)

Oh yeah, you should be good then. It'd probably take 30-45 min going slow I'd you want to minimize your trimming and only cut what you need.
I used a razor blade to score the plastic and then some tin snips to snap it because it's fairly thick. Just take your time and turn the wheels back and forth to guestumate where they're going to rub, it'll be pretty self explanatory

You might rub a little, those are a tad taller than stock but I doubt it'll rub much

I just bought a 2013 2500HD. The previous owner put a 3 inch body life on it. It is a good looking truck but it has stock tires on 18 inch rims. What size tires would look good, not rub? Any help would be appreciated. I will leave the stocks on there for the winter.

My cousin has an 11' 2500HD. He runs a 3" BL, leveling keys, 1.5" wheel spacers, and 295/60/20s on OEM 20s.

Do yall think that 295/70/18s will fit on an 09 Silverado 4x4? I will have a 4 inch trailmaster lift. I will be running 18x9s with 0 offset. I am willing to do the fender mod if I know that they will fit.

I'm pretty sure they'll fit. My buddy had 295/70/18 Nitto Trail Grapplers on his NNBS with a 5" lift and just had minor trimming/rubbage

On my red 05 in my sig, I had the full level lift kit with keys, blocks, and shocks. My current white 06 has just the keys, no blocks, and Bilstien shocks
