I guess my question would be what do I need to ask him to make sure they're the right ones?

Ask him in these exact words, "Are the TrailBlazer SS replicas you quoted me going to be 20x8 +45 offset with a 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern?" If he says yes, get him to write you a quote with that in typing and signed. so that if they come in and are wrong. He has no excuse to try and get you for any money.

Ye called them back, smartass kid told me without hesitation or looking it back up, "ye if I was able to look them up we can get them." I'm just going to wait till the owner gets back and talk to him latter on today

I would've went off on his dumbass. Been like "that's just it, dumbass! You can't look them up and he told me he could get them. That's why I'm double checking. I thought I called a wheel shop, not autozone."

I got 255/75 r-17 close enough? If not which end should I be worried about?

those tires are 32". thats getting into the firewall pretty good . that 275/60-17 is about the biggest you could go and not HAVE to tub the firewall. if you don't want to tub the firewall at all right now, 275/55-17 or 255/60r17 would be two options

Ok that's only on the front though no? The back shouldn't need too much massaging with what I got

you'll have to cut the entire tubs out to fit those tires in the rear. up front you'll have to cut all the inner fender out

backspacing is close, but the front spacing is what you have to look at for tucking.
24x10 +30mm is 6.68" back spacing and 4.32" front spacing
24x9 +38mm is 6.49" back spacing and 3.51" front spacing

therefore the 24x10 stick out over 3/4" more per side.

I agree about the front spacing. Just trying to get a better feel on what to expect with this EKMW kit.

I still plan on shortening the rear axle, but we don't have the bed cut/on yet, to get an accurate measurement and determine how much to cut off..

No11 Wheel - 2Crave Alloys

These are the rims that I'm looking at getting. 24x10 +30mm

May have changed my mind on wheels. The new Texas Edition 24" reps are sweet!
The guy I would be buying them from says they will tuck, but he didn't say how wide they are,
and wasn't sure on the offset..

He just means they don't stick out passed the fenders. You will still be narrowing your axle man
