Removing rubber undercoating

I learned my lesson, Not to substitute rubber undercoat for plasti dip. now I don;t really like it, and having a hard time getting it off. Anybody have any sugestions? it contains tar, I'm wondering if Aircraft Stripper would work? I mean i've seen the stuff eat through asphalt.

Please no flaming, I'm already in a bad mood over the stuff. I don't need any more "youre a dumbass blah blah blah" bullshit all I need is help

And before I get any "google" crap, i did. Some suggest one thing, others suggest another thing. I'm wondering if anyone here has any advise

I got some places on mine where it has started to wear off, should i just take it off in that area, clean it and the spray it again or what?

ugh in my experience gas/diesel makes a sticky nasty mess, does NOT come off clean/easy. imo aircraft stripper would prolly do the trick.

 Where did you use it? Aircraft stripper will take off any coating underneath the undercoating as well, paint, clearcoat, etc. That undergone is not for painted surfaces either. Best solution would probably be to use a plastic scraper, scrape the thick of it off, then maybe some bug/tar remover or lacquer thinner will take it off. Be careful though, factory paint should be fine, but if it has been repainted, there is a chance it can lift it.
