Well as most of you know I sold my 22"s and started rolling stock 17". The reason being I got tired of the gray wheels. The 17"s are just temporary for a couple months. I'm going to buy chrome 24"s in the summer. Recently I've been doing minor motor work to the truck. Full bolt ons were just completed last weekend and my truck is wayyyyy too damn loud with the Carven R series on it. Already got the cops called on my twice lol. I was wondering what muffler you guys would recommend? I don't want it quiet, definitely want to hear it at idle but I want more of a deep growl and good low tone when I get on it. Also doing Catch Can and going 1" lower all around in the next week or 2.

Do you have headers and cats? I just took everything off behind the 3rd cat and went with a carven tr and a corsa knock off tip. I love the sound nice idle good growl when you get on it and you can barely hear it in v4 mode.

I have Longtubes, no cats 3" off road y and 3" piping. Wanting to stay away from Carven. Never liked the tone with Longtubes.

Case length also determines tone as well doesn't it? I'd say the longer/bigger you go the less rasp you're going to have.
Yes it does, shorter case is much louder and raspier due to less material to control the noise. Same with small vs large diameter

What is the largest tire I can run on a 24? Going down to 5/8 on Sunday and buying 24s soon. Prefer 285 or 295. The tires I had on my 22s were 285/45/22 which is about a 32" tire. It rubbed a little but I didn't mind, would rather have some beef than some bands lol

295/30 are 30.9" tall and a 295/35 are 32.1" tall. 30 series is a small tire I wouldn't run it around here with our shitty roads.

295/30 is what the Louisiana guys prefer. Our roads are like log trails. I had 275/30 an it was to small. If I do 24s again I'll get 295/30
