So not everyone's garage is filled with plastic shelves covered in cleaning supplies and stacks of old furniture everywhere? You all don't leave the cars worth thousands of dollars out in the elements? Whodathunk.

I try to clean out the 'rents' garage, but they refuse to find somewhere else to store the crap, like the basement or attic that are mostly empty. It's not even me being a good son, shit, I want a place to screw around with my truck.

At least you have some kind vehicles in your garage. No vehicles had seen the inside since before I was born until last year, when I begged my father not leave a brand new Denali sitting under a pine tree.

I really need to look back through this thread to get some ideas. As you may have seen on other threads I am moving and downsizing garages (for now). It is still a larger attached garage, 24' wide x 32' deep. I need shelving but would still like to park the Caddy sideways in the front during the winter. I have no idea to accomplish this... Ultimately I will build another 2-3 car garage and use the attached for the two vehicles we drive daily and kids toys but that is at least a few years away.
