Well if I have you on snapchat you saw it first.

Got everything buttoned up today. Loaded the tune, primed the motor by cranking it a few times with the coils and injectors unplugged, and fired it up.

Let it idle up to temp, checked the vitals, logged the whole thing, drove it down the street and back. I didn't get into it but the tune feels smooth and the new clutch components are like butter compared to the old stuff.

Super happy with it this far. It chops up nice and sounds badass.

Here's some pics and a video:

Richard sent back an email about the log I sent. Fuel trims are off by 50% at idle. But it didn't seem to run weird at all. So we're gonna try and track that down and get that in check.

The other day when I hooked up the battery to pull the tune the hvac fans were blowing. So I pulled the fuse and said I'd figure it out after I got the motor all done.

So doing some quick read I found that the blower motor resistor can cause it to blow even with the truck off. So to Amazon I went and order up a new one. Swapped that out today in between sending logs over to Rich.

Put about 50 miles on it today driving around logging. Rich has been super fast with revisions, I got 3 revisions in a 6 hour span today after sending him logs. Unreal.

Should be just about done with the VE table after this last log. Hopefully get the MAF portion done tomorrow!

Yeah.... Our 05' Yukon did the same thing yours was doing.

Bosses 05' LLY actually caught fire right in front of us in our shop parking lot. Luckily we smothered it out. Resistor shorted/overheated, plug end melted, melted coating off wires and hot wire fused together with rest of harness. It became a hot glowing ball which ignited dirt/debris/random little papers that had fallen from glove box area down into that hvac cover. Melted through the foam insulation on back of hvac cover and through the cover. Dripped hot molten plastic onto the carpet and floor mat. Crazy!
