Well, I bought my first new truck and it ended up being a Ford this time. I wanted a diesel bad, but I just have no use for one. I really liked the Ecoboost engine and decided to go with the F150 and I have to say they are pretty damn awesome.

I also have a 2015 GMC Sierra SLE work truck so I get best of both worlds at the moment. Ford interior is superior, GMC ride and handling is much better. Power definitely goes to the Ford.

Plans are:

-Colormatch grill and bumper
-Tint windshield and windows
-SCT X4 Tuner with Unleashed Tuning (On its way)
-Weatherguard mats (On the way)
-Maybe exhaust down the road. The turbo whistle is amazing, but the v6 sound is just terrible.
-Icon Stage 5 Suspension Kit (ordered today)
-20x10 Weld Cheyennes with 305/55/20 Cooper STT Pro Tires

Icon's Stage 5 Kit

It comes with uca's, 2.5 Icon Coilovers with resi's including compression dampening control valve, and 2.5 Icon Piggyback Resi's for the rear with compression dampening control valve.

We shall see how the rear is, worst case I go with some HD Deavers.

GMC plans are:
-Tint
-SLT headlights
-Tune
-Drive

Grats on the new trucks but imo DNFW either because Fiat and Toyota are the only companies that know how to make a good looking truck anymore

Toyota for me no. Just not a fan of the looks, but they're growing on me.

Almost went towards a Dodge MegaCab, but I have several friends with new diesels and they have been in the damn shop more than in their driveway. Probably just luck of the draw, but I gambled on the Ford and it's been really nice. I was not personally impressed with the Ecodiesel either and I didn't like the new Ram 1500s. The ecoboost engine and interior of the Ford sold me to be honest.

I should have bought white though for my Ford. Pictures don't do justice for the color. I already have a ton of scratches from hunting a few weeks back  :(

That backup camera is the definition of awesome. I love the aerial feature. I thought mine was fancy because the lines move with the steering wheel but that blows it out the water lol

I was very picky about having that feature as well. It is nice to have, I am just hoping it' s not something that can go haywire down the road. Damn truck has a lot of gadgets which in the moment I was all about. Now I'm a little hesitant and nervous so we shall see lol

nice dude, will be bamf with all the plans done

Thanks man, I can't wait. Trying to be simple and clean. I looked at the lifts, but it's pretty ridiculous what you have to do. They cut off the passenger rear lower control arm bracket if not mistaken and you have to weld a gusset to the frame. No thank you.

Different strokes for different folks, I personally love the current Ram 1500s, weather I like the looks or not I'm not making your payment and will probably never have 2 brand new trucks especially at the same time. Plans sound good on both.

Those new Fords are quickly growing on me. I hated them at first, and now I find myself drooling over every FX4 I pass. Definitely a sweet truck and congrats on the purchase.

Agreed, having to wait 3-4 weeks is going to feel like an eternity. The rear suspension is terrible on this truck so it should firm it up quite a bit.

Agreed on the mirrors. I wanted tow's, but they stuck out too far for my liking as well. These have a camera in each mirror, a puddle light that illuminates the driver and passenger door pretty well, and the side led lights on them. With all the gadgets on them I just deal with them lol

So a quick update. Got all of the goodies in a few days back. I'm going to see about installing this weekend or prep my vmax to sell. I'm still debating on 20x10s or 20x12s. I'm leaning towards 10's, but keep getting pushed to 12's by outside influences  Any recommendations?

Once I free up a bit I'm going to get the front end painted. I tinted the windows all 5 percent, but they were nervous about doing the windshield with the lane assist portion up by the rear view mirror so I'm going to reschedule that tint appointment and I'll disconnect the damn thing.

I also tuned the truck with a 91 performance tune and holy hell it rips. Baby turbos are much louder now which puts a smile on my face haha

fuck, I am really trying to decide my route, Icon, Fox, King.

Super Jelly

The only reason I went Icon is because they actually valved specifically for the 15 F150 weight and they were very helpful. Fox was helpful, but they didn't have the write-up that Icon had about this specific truck. King was not helpful at all. Customer service and their writeup ideally led me towards Icon. Expensive as hell, but I'm hoping it's worth it.

Baja Kits has a kit now that I really want that makes the truck a Raptor essentially, but I wasn't looking at spending 8-9k on it lol

Looks good duder.

Remember, If the Dodge's were any more reliable I would be out of a job. Both of your trucks look great.

Thanks dude I'm hoping I can get on it ASAP. I'm hoping this damn truck holds up. I gave Ford a chance, but really kicking myself at times as I also wanted a Mega Cab

whatchu want for vmax :hmm:

I have no idea yet mang. Damn truck has been neglected for too long :( Interested?
