I haven't googled much on this but what I have found is, nothing. So I make my return to the colorful world of CGM to ask if any of you guys are familiar with what sensor would be bad to make ABS and Stabilitrak go off and say it needs service when hitting a rough bump/going into a curve? I figured it's either the wheel speed sensor (cruise control still works tho) or the ABS sensor but wanted some external input on it. I know it's on my driverside so that at least narrows that down.

Sounds like an abs sensor from my experience with them. Could be a wheel bearing going bad that took out the sensor (that's what happened to me years ago), the sensor is so dirty with grease that it's not reading, pinched wire, etc.

You could take the time to clean and regrease the sensors but you might as well replace them with how inexpensive they are. Also, check your bearings like Dakota said. I had one bad one on mine so I did two new complete units on the front.

Thanks guys, I'll lift the front and check for play on the wheel bearing and see. If it's bad, I'll just replace the whole assembly and not worry about it. Good chances the sensor is dirty though, this truck's UCAs and LCAs have grease-able balljoints so lots of grease all over the place under there.

Timken wheel bearings, 1/2 ton eats them when running anything larger than a 33" IMO accelerated even more on negative offset wide wheels.
