At the farm we have a milwaukee and makita set and they both work wonderfully, my dad has the ryobi set and loves it as well... its really just brand preference when it comes to these

I like my dewalts. Most of our guys in the shop/field use them. I do like makita/Milwaukee stuff as well. Just a matter of cost/warranty honestly.

Makita 18v - been rockin one for like 5 years; 4 years using it as a technician, not as powerful as some but its been doused it in trans fluid and other bullshit multiple times while running hot and it has never blinked.

I have a chicago brand corded impact and cordless drill/flashlight combo from harbor freight had drill a few years never let me down and the impact is great just wish I would've gotten the cordless one instead.

I love my john deere cordless impact (Hitachi) and Hitachi cordless and corded drills, got them on a Black Friday deal at Menards a ew years ago. have put them through hell and back and never had an issue.

Craftsmen is good for the price, never had a minutes problem out of my set. I really like Milwaukee's too. My problem with Dewalt is the batteries will eventually start falling out and won't stay in. This happen to two different people Ive worked with. They have to duct tape there battery's on everytime.

Thanks guys

Brandon, the dewalt 18v 1/4" has enough power to zip off lug nuts and such?

Get it man. I used one when we were building our almond processing plant, little thing is a beast. Took off 30+ year old rusty nuts no problem as well as tighten down our seismic anchors for our sizers and texas shaker. Zach can vouch for it too

I love my Snap On cordless drill and impact but if they ever take a shit on me (better fucking not for the price) I will go with dewalt, few buddies have them and they are great.

My dad used my 20v stuff putting up tin on my grandpas porch a couple weeks ago, he's been on a binge to buy a set to replace the bullet proof old 18v dewalts we have, just because he loved how light/balanced they were.

It'll take nuts off, but get the 20v if its available

My techs all have Snap On ones, and They rarely use there pneumatic tools now. In the next 10-15 years I bet I'll be off pneumatic mostly and have a large charging station for Tools. so much cleaner and not near the amount of noise pollution
