What are some of the uncommon or down right rare color options for the gmt800 trucks out there? Pics? I know there were some oddball greens and blues, ran across this the other day and it got me thinking..I know it's probably not factory but I'd like to see some of the rarer colors..

That looks like arrival blue, hard to tell in that lighting. That was a factory truck color for a few years.

Its got more green to it than that. Think of the teal metallic some of the early first gen camaros got, but either over black instead of over white or shade more blue.

Sunset orange metallic was very rare. I've only ever seen one truck in person that was that color.

Factory "Sunblast Yellow" GMT800. 01-02 package called a "Sierra HT" which literally has the RPO and stands for "Hot Truck".

What is a Sierra HT anyway? Sierra HT was a sporty package offered in 2001 and 2002 as a GMC regular cab stepside pickup. It was only offered in two fleet colors, "Sunforest Green" and "Sunblast Yellow" with the Yellow being much more common between the two. The cab came entirely de-badged, however the 4x4 sticker and tailgate emblems remained. All trucks had the following: 4.8L V8, automatic transmission, 3.73 gears, 40/20/40 cloth seats with console, A/C, Z85 suspension, chrome bumpers, chrome grille, chrome 16" steel wheels, and color matched leather steering wheel. The only options to be had were: 4wd, skid plate (4wd), power locks (not windows), G80, cruise control, tinted glass, transmission cooler, high capacity air cleaner, engine block heater, and trailering equipment. Out of all these options, my truck only has 4wd.

I used the GM RPO system to determine the number of truck built.

The trucks were produced only in 2001 and 2002.

2001 Total: 1712
- Sunforest Green: 321
- Sunblast Yellow: 1391

2002 Total: 959
- Sunblast Yellow: 959

Total HT Production: 2671

that truck looks like the color that was a factory option on the tahoes and yukons iirc.

I knew I'd seen ot some where, that's exactly what it is
We have an 05 Yukon with the color you're talking about. Tis not the same as the silverado pictured. Silvy is much brighter/tealer it seems. Our Yukon is dark blue/green/purple

Only good shot of color I found from a before & after detail few years back

Factory comercial yellow duramax i see now and then. Ccsb sierra same uellow as the avalanches
There was another darker yellow that Avy's and other trucks could be ordered with, Wheatland yellow.

When I did a little touch-up on this truck, found out it's the same color as Penske trucks.

That's badass
Holy shit Dfw sunblast yellow
I'm actually in the process of selling it. Unfortunately, as much as I love the truck I don't drive it anymore. Both it and my 88 just sit because I don't have time/money for both, nor the parking for both. It literally has just been sitting since my work gave me a truck. I think i've put 200 miles on it since last year? has 93k and was garaged almost it's entire life.
