Morimoto H1 HID Projector Retrofit Adapter Plates for Denali Lights

I recently retrofitted my Denali headlights with Morimoto H1 HID Projectors. In the process of researching the retrofit, I saw people may be interested in the adapter plates I would need to complete it. So, I had extras made.

The adapter plates are made from .063" aluminum and are designed to be used with Morimoto H1 HID Projectors (they may work with the D2Ss, but fitment has not been checked). They bolt up to the projectors with #8 machine screws (1/2 to 3/4 length recommended, as well as Nylock nuts (neither are included)), and while there should not be any issues, a little finessing of the adapter may be required depending on the tolerances/differences from one projector's mounting holes to the next.

Level of difficulty is Easy, and this project should be doable in 30-60 minutes with minor mechanical ability. There is a very informative How-To video, made by our very own Oktain, at the end of this post.

Pricing, Shipping, and Payment:

As of 3-12-13 these are still available, and I am still shipping them.

They are $40 a set, shipped via USPS with Delivery Confirmation.I am no longer shipping to Canada. I have not found a good way to accept payment and USPS has raised the cost of shipping to $20.

Due to a lengthy ordeal with PayPal, and their subsequent screwing me out of a considerable amount of money, I will not be using their service. I'm sorry for this inconvenience, but I refuse to use them. I will only be accepting Cash, Money Order (preferably USPS), and Amazon Webpay. If you're hell-bent on sending a check, I will accept it on the terms of allowing 3 weeks for it to clear. This basically means you're waiting 4 weeks from the time you send payment to when you receive your adapters.

Please do not ask me to "PM me your info". If you would like to purchase a set, please email the information below to NVoils at Earthlink . net. Emails will be a lot easier for me to keep track of, especially if you include the requested information. Once you email me, I will let you know where to send payment.

Wow, can't wait to get mine installed! I received the adapter plates from Nick (Thanks Nick), purchased some OEM Denali headlights off of E-bay and just had a friend polish the lens where they are looking like new. I finally figured out how the Morimoto H1 HID Projectors work with the solenoids on a YouTube video description Bi-Xenon HID Projectors Explained (Morimoto Mini) - YouTube :) and realized that they are activated by the upper beam juice feed. With the adapter plates and Denali headlights are the shrouds from Morimoto even needed?
Thanks,
Bart
