De-Redneckification of Mr Pate's 03 Duramax
Some random pictures from when I washed and polished the lip of the rims.
I also finally picked up my 8 inch deavers from my buddy. They will be taken apart for some powder when I get the front end issue figured out. Will probably run either the 3" block I have in now or a 4" that I have.
Well found out that one of the radius arm insulator bushings slid out of the axle again. Talked to a few people and found out how to keep them in place. Just have to mushroom the ends a little so they can't move. Just took like a bunch and hammer and bent them out a little. Haven't drove it yet because I have the tailgate off to get the relocator redone as it was cracking.
But I did get an oem grille from a local guy and but that on tonight. Also repainted the bowtie white till I get a billet one. Will also replace the billet grille since I had it plasti dip then sanded it off and was dull. Will post pictures of the grille installed in the day time.

The sweet been spending a lot of time in FL cause that's where the gfs family lives. Only been as far south as Hollywood. But idk man I'm gonna miss the billet and teal. If you did a black lower valance that would tie in nice with the black grille

If you ever talk to him in person he makes his truck sound like a hoopty, when I was down there I saw it at a show and he mentioned a couple times that he needed to repolish the wheels from the rain but they were literally cleaner than any wheels I've ever had
If I remember correctly truck wasn't even drivable when you were down here sadly

Haha that's because I know the little things that are wrong with it! Pictures don't show a lot of it thankfully lol. I mean yes it is nice but it has its flaws lol
Ended up getting another set of clears lol. This will be my third set but I couldn't pass them up. They are brand new never mounted on the truck. Bought them from a forum member. Currently I have another set at paint getting clear coated hoping that way they wont fade or turn yellow

Well I actually have 2 sets my first set I sold to a buddy, the second is at paint getting clear coated and these well I will just hold on to lol. The sss cap I bought from a member on here and the esky handles aren't really eskys lol. They are color matched with chrome stick ons. I do have 2 real ones that need re painted

Went up to Daytona this past weekend for the truck meet. Large turnout of trucks and people. Wish it was sunnier for longer but that's Florida for ya. On the way up a wheel hub went out on me but was thankful for being able to get the parts and get it swapped and back on the road.
Here are pics of my truck and some of the ones I like
American Force Crew came and kept me company as I was replacing the hub along with a local guy who helped big time with tools that I didn't have with me
