Coolant question!!

So I'm in the process of cleaning up my engine bay and getting ready for front tubs.(bagged 2011 Silverado) I made a little diagram in hopes that y'all would be able to tell me if it will work.

I'll be running a In line cap with this mounted in a different location (24oz)

Basicly the stock coolant tank has a fitting on top and a bigger spout on bottom technically it should be the same but not sure if someone has done something different

you dont need the line in the top. for the over flow. your return and your overflow can be the same setup.

Correct.Think of it as an Expansion tank, not a overflow. That top line is just an overflow dump to direct overflowing coolant onto the pavement. My bagged blazer literally has a water bottle strapped to the side for overflow
