Put new 5100s in the rear on Saturday to replace one that was long overdue and leaking. Feels so much nicer now. Then I started thinking about whats next. So far 2017 goals are full led conversion on interior switches, rocker panels/rust repair and maybe vette servo. Thats what i have so far, oh and look for 799 heads locally to start down that road.

Thoughts on vette servo going into a 160k+ mile trans?

i did it on my obs at around that mileage.

No issues?

Vette servo was one of my favorite things I did to my nbs. Actually have one coming for the yukon in the mail.

Got all the interior switches and gauges converted over to white LEDs and I think it looks great. Only the foglight switch has a slight tint of blue and Im working with the guy who did them to fix that issue. I also removed the HIDs and polished my headlights. In replacement of the HIDs I went with a modified 9012 HIR in replacement of the stock 9006 bulb and a 9011 for the 9005s. The 9012/9011 put out approx 134% more light than standard halogens and since they are a conventional bulb I dont have to worry about blinding people or scattered useless light in non-retrofitted housings. Very minor modification to the tabs and youre in business. Plus they are the same wattage so they stay as cool as factory, which I am inclined to think the HIDs had a negative effect on my housings hazing fairly fast after I cleared m corners a few years back.

I dont have any pictures of anything right now but Ill get some later and post them up.

I am also going to start getting some quotes for the rockers/cab corners along with some other minor body work here in the next few weeks.

Other than that Im kind of at a loss as for any other small things I could possible do. I have my big goals: heads, cam, the body work etc. But nothing really small to dick around with, which I'm not sure how I feel about that. Vette servo, possibly but I'm a little afraid of that

LED backlighting mod was one of my favorite mods on my old 06. Wish I would have done red though. Part of the reason I went with the Sierra when I ordered a new truck was because the gauge lighting was red.
