so anyway BR power source has started a company BR Powersource Your Diesel Performance Tuning Centre

the guys name is Berny he is super cool and has a lot of experience tuning trucks for landscape and heavy equipment companies

just figured it would be a nice option for us Canadians

I had contacted them around tuning my old 2001 4.8 but ended up going PCM North in Kitchener.

Should talk to him around tuning my '12

Seems to be more and more tuners in Ontario now.

Champion Motors in North York looks like they know what they're doing too... Search them.

BR has a great diesel reputation in Southern Ontario, But have seen some gasser issues. Champion Motors Looks ok, but I ahve no experiemce.

I Recently used SPI In oakville, and they definetly know there LS based tuning and work. Still tho, Id rather travel to New Era in NY

SPI? Hmmm. I'll hang on to that one. I've got an LS based build I want to do in the somewhat distant future and may need their tuning expertise. Something I want an in person tune for.

I want EFiLive and do all my own tuning. BUt for diesel I would still recommend Mark @ Danville Performance.

i might go to SPI for my truck instead i know my friend had some problems with spark knock and stuff and i don't want any problems, and on another note SPI is 20 mins away from my work and since you said they had a better rep ill see what they can do for price on a tune

Same here, I really want an in person tune. But depending on SPI's prices I might just stick with Black Bear.

SPI in person tune is 400 bucks not on the dyno although they can do a 2wd dyno tune which i think the guy said was $650.00

$650? I paid $600 for my diesel plus 6 dyno runs. EFILive is the cost of 2 tunes. Hoping to have it soon so Mark can fix my tuning issues and save my the 18-20 hours of driving.

FYI SPI cannot dyno our trucks, they have a dynapack hib mounted dyno, and they do not have 6 lug adapter for trucks
