Best Battery?

blue tops are deep cycle. THe yellow tops are suppose to be a cross between a deep cycle and reg battery. I had one last for ever. They are suppose to have better run down properties.
 
deep cycle doesnt really matter if ur not discharging the battery often. For audio u want something that can handle quick bursts of high current draw and delivery the power as fast as possible. Its my understanding that the marines are the hybrid and the yellows are deep cycle :shrug:

iirc theyre SLI (Starting Lighting Ignition) and and yellows are strictly deep cycling.
 
yellow tops are deep cycle, reds are normal. the blue are marine, and deeper cycle than the yellow. i put a blue in my OBS.
 
I had the blue optima marine battery, only cause someone at gander mtn messed up pricing so it said $19.99 not $199.99 lol
 
After a lengthy thread and research I went with O'Reilly auto platinum agm battery. Been holding up well.
 
they aren't usually in my engine bay, next time I'll be sure to watch for them though... :think:
